Pomegranate is one of the top ten fruits with many benefits due to its healthy qualities. It is one of the oldest and most nutritious cultivated fruits, as confirmed by health experts. For health, both pomegranate juice and the fruit itself are equally beneficial, considered an elixir for the treatment of a number of diseases. Above all, pomegranates are fat-free and low in sugar, and are rich in antioxidants that prevent free radical damage to the body's cells.

Although many foods contain antioxidants, pomegranate is the only product that has punicalagins in its composition. According to studies, in addition to neutralizing free radicals, this substance also has the ability to reduce the risk of prostate cancer, lung cancer and breast cancer. Pomegranate contains a healthy blend of vitamins: C, B5, K, potassium and zinc. Vitamin B5, also called pantothenic acid, is considered essential for healthy skin and ensuring proper functioning of the nervous system. Some studies have shown that trace minerals found in pomegranate can prevent muscle cramps, insulin resistance and adrenal insufficiency.
